Curacao Cemetery: Openbare Begraafplaats (Public Cemetery)

One of a cluster of four cemeteries at Bonamweg at Brievengat. This is a large burial ground reportedly for those without the means to be buried elsewhere on the island, and without religious affiliation. Most of the in-ground graves and crypts are unmarked except for number, although some have had identifying markers added. There are several of these in Chinese characters. There are several above-ground multiple crypt structures which are relatively new and roughly constructed.
